With a significant percentage of web traffic now coming from mobile devices, we’re focussed on producing websites that perform and look great with touch interfaces as well as traditional PCs.

With our latest design for Texo Group, we were able to create an advanced company page that is both speedy with the mouse, and kind to your fingers when using a device such as the iPad.

We’re always excited about new platforms and we test our sites on a variety of different devices during development.

This week we were really excited to launch our latest site, Westleigh Commercial.

We went for a clean and crisp design for Westleigh, keeping their logo on top at all times and letting the great shots of their developments really speak for themselves.

Using the latest web technologies including Ajax and jQuery we were able to create really great looking galleries that are incredibly simple to update and work on a range of mobile devices including your iPhone,  iPad and Google Android phone.

Google maps are heavily utilised to give clear and up to date views of Westleigh’s development locations, and XML driven availability tables and diagrams give easy access to all the relevant information visitors require.

You can give Westleigh’s new site a look here.

Smooth 3D Coverflow

Last week we launched an exciting new website for internationally renowned flautist, Paul Edmund-Davies.

My role was to create an interactive 3D coverflow menu for his publications and CDs. The result is a great-looking, smooth and easily updated menu that does a great job of showing off his repertoire and reaching a wider market.

Check out his publications here and his CDs here.

jQuery and Ajax

This week I’ve been working on smooth jQuery and Ajax galleries that work on all platforms

Menus can be boring, that’s why when it came to creating a project menu for the Byrne Group site we decided to funk things up a bit:

With a clean design and great looking photography, Chris and I worked to produce one of our funkiest menus yet. I used collision detection with mouse-overs to produce a unique ‘dodge’ effect to get more out of a small space.

You can view it here, and because our code is easily updated with XML, you can see it here, here and here as well.
